Now it's War

I'm glad everyone enjoys the shots of Fabio. He's started rearing under saddle this week, and tempted as I am to try for some shots, that would seem hypociritcal and quite truthfully asking for trouble. However, if he keeps this up, one of the two of us isn't going to live to the national show, and cosidering the sheer size and force of the horse, I doubt I'm going to be winning a physical fight. Monday he reared up and struck me with both front legs, no more damage done than bruises, but at that instant, I declaired all out war on him. Hopefully one of us will surrender before this comes to an end.

I'd much rather you be safe then see cool shots. You'll win. He sounds like he needs a good lesson on who's top dog. Stallion or not he's got no excuse.

yeah, that was our breaking point. He backed down and has been an angel ever since. Riding the best he's ever done (he's really green, so we are still expecting improvement) turning, stoping, starting, going into a trot, all really smooth.

I'm glad he's behaving now. Didn't realize he's green. We all have our days (greenies just seem to have a few more ;)).

Eh... that's a stallion for you. lol :P At least you weren't seriously hurt, though. ^^

I, personally, would love to see some rearing shots of Fabio (especially if they would be stock), but I agree with you; that might not be a good idea.
